Sunday worship services (both morning and evening) play a vital part in the life of our church family. They are a great time where we can come together; praise God, pray, read the Bible and be taught, discovering more about who Jesus is and what it means to live for Him.

In St Peter’s we sing Psalms, hymns and some contemporary worship songs; a mix of both contemporary and traditional worship. We often sing the Psalms in the traditional Free Church way, acappella, with a praise band leading the accompanied pieces.

During the service we also pray, both silently and as we are led, for the congregation, the community, the country and the spread of the gospel throughout the world.

As a church based firmly on the Bible, God’s word has a central and important role in all that we do as we listen to what He has to say to us. During each service we read a portion of Scripture from the Old or New Testament and listen as it is explained and applied to our lives.

All ages are welcome at St Peter’s and information about our Creche, Sunday Schools and Youth group can be found here.

Whether you are coming to church for the first time, visiting with us or come to St Peter’s regularly, we hope that you feel welcomed.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
Colossians 3:16
