At St Peter’s, all that we do is guided by the Bible and our love for Jesus, as we all seek to become more like him each day. The Bible is our highest authority and in it we find out about who God is, who we are, and the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that trusting in Jesus for forgiveness, for all the wrong things that we say and do, is the only way back to God and the only way to have true fullness in this life and in eternity.

With that in mind, our times together are centred around finding out more about who Jesus is through the Bible, how we can follow him and become more like him. Following Jesus should impact every area of our lives as Christians as we seek to give Him His rightful place as Lord of all, whether this be at home, at school, or at work.

As Christians we also believe in the power of prayer, speaking to God each day, depending on him, thanking him for his grace and mercy in sending Jesus, praying for those in need; in our families, our congregation or around the world. We believe that God answers prayers and keeps his promises.

We are also a congregation of the Free Church of Scotland and believe in the statements of the Westminster Confession of Faith.

If you would like to come along to St Peter’s to find out more about who Jesus is, what the Bible says, or just to speak to us in person then you are more than welcome. You can find information about our Sunday services and prayer meetings here.
